Karya Tulis Ilmiah Peranan Kimia Dalam Teknologi Masa Depan

BAB I Pendahuluan

A.      Latar Belakang Masalah

Limbah adalah buangan yang dihasilkan dari suatu proses produksi baik industri maupun domestik (rumah tangga) yang lebih dikenal sebagai sampah, yang kehadirannya pada suatu saat dan tempat tertentu tidak dikehendaki lingkungan karena tidak memiliki nilai ekonomi dan atau estetika. Jenis-jenis limbah berdasarkan karakteristiknya ada 4 yaitu limbah padat, limbah cair, limbah gas, dan limbah B3. Masalah limbah yang sering terjadi adalah seperti warna, rasa, dan aroma yang tidak enak dari sungai atau saluran air di lingkungan kita, padahal sebagian besar kehidupan masyarakat ada yang terdapat di sungai atau saluran air tersebut, kemudian seperti matinya organisme-organisme di dalam sungai atau saluran air tersebut karena pH yang telah melebihi batas normal di kadar air sugai atau saluran airnya.

Peranan kimia dalam teknologi sekarang adalah mempelajari unsur-unsur senyawa kimia yang berada di dalam limbah tersebut dan menanggulangi dampak negatifnya (menguraikan dan/atau mengubahnya ke bentuk lain yang lebih bermanfaat bagi manusia). Peranan kimia dalam teknologi untuk menyelesaikan masalah limbah adalah ilmu yang mempelajari komposisi, sifat dan perubahan zat. Disini kita dapat mempelajari komposisi, sifat dan perubahan zat apa saja yang terkandung dalam limbah.

Penyelesaian yang digunakan untuk menanggulangi limbah yang pertama mengurangi pemakaian produk industri internasional maupun domestik seminimum mungkin, yang kedua berusaha tidak membuang limbah ke sungai yang mengakibatkan sungai tercemar, yang ketiga melakukan pembuangan sampah tepat pada tempatnya agar tidak mengakibat lingkungan tercemar atau rusak. Keempat kita dapat mengubah pencemaran tersebut ke bentuk lain yang bermanfaat bagi manusia.

             Mengingat masalah dunia tentang global warming,kita akan membuat suatu yg langkah yg kita beri nama "Genius Move To Change Our Earth".Langkah ini adalah langkah kecil yg bila dikembangkan akan berdampak global dan menjadi suatu langkah revolusi besar.Seperti judul karya tulis ilmiah ini,kami akan mencoba mengolah limbah cair dengan suatu teknologi baru yg sederhana bentuknya,efesiensi tempat dan bisa dijangkau harganya oleh semua kalangan.Dengan membuat saluran pengolahan limbah cair bawah tanah dan menggunakan teknologi pengolah limbah yg kami/seseorang ciptkan dikemudian hari,kita bisa membersihkan seluruh saluran air di seluruh dunia.Dengan langkah ini,air bersih akan bertambah secara alamiah dan tanah akan bertambah subur.Demikian juga hal positif ini akan berdampak pada manusia,hewan dan tumbuhan.Hewan akan lebih produktif dan baik kualitasnya karena tumbuhan membaik kualitasnya dan lebih meningkat hasil fotosintesisnya,dengan kata lain kandungan O2 di bumi ini akan terus meningkat dan dalam waktu bersamaan lapisan O3 kita akan segera pulih secara bertahap.Jika lapisan O3 kita sudah pulih maka ilklim dan cuaca pun akan membaik,suhu di bumi akan menurun,permukaan air laut pun akan turun,daratan yg tenggelam akan muncul kembali,biota air pun akan pulih keadaannya.Dalam langkah ini,teknologi yg kami maksud kan adalah teknologi pengolahan yg akan menguraikan dan atau memutuskan rantai senyawa kimia berbahaya menjadi bentuk lain yg lebih bermanfaat

 

B. Perumusan Masalah

1.  Apa saja komposisi, sifat dan perubahan zat yang terkandung di dalam limbah?

2. Bagaimana cara mengolah limbah kimia dengan baik menjadi layak guna?

 

C. Pemecahan Masalah

1. Meneliti zat-zat yang terkandung dalam limbah tersebut.

2. Dengan mengingat-ngingat lagi pelajaran dari teori-teori kimia dari jenjang dasar sampai jenjang pendidikan sekarang kami berfikir dan terinspirasi untuk membuat suatu teknologi yang dapat mengatasi limbah di Indonesia bahkan dunia. Teori tersebut hanya akan menjadikan teori saja apabila tidak ada pengaplikasiannya (bentuk nyata) disini kami menggunakan teori-teori pasif tersebut untuk membuat suatu teknologi pengolahan limbah gas dengan teori ikatan hidrokarbon dan pemutusan serta penguraian suatu rantai kimia.

 

D.Kerangka Berpikir

Kerangka berfikir di karya tulis ilmiah ini memiliki variabel bebas yaitu teknologi ilmu kimia yang diasumsikan memiliki pengaruh kuat dengan variabel terikat yaitu pengolahan limbah menjadi layak guna.

 

E.Tujuan

Mengetahui,memahami dan merealisasikan peranan kimia dalam kemajuan teknologi masa depan khususnya dalam hal pengolahan limbah menjadi layak guna untuk bumi yg lebi baik

 

F. Manfaat

1. Mengurangi pencemaran yang diakibatkan limbah cair
2. Memberikan supply karbon dioksida.
3. Membantu fotosintesis pada tumbuhan.
4. Meningkatkan produksi O2
5.Memulihkan kembali lapisan ozon
6.Hewan dan Tumbuhan meningkat kualitasnya
7.Menurunkan suhu di bumi

A.Kesimpulan

            Kesimpulan dari karya tulis ilmiah tentang teknologi ilmu kimia dalam pengolahan limbah menjadi layak guna adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam bahayanya limbah di sekitar lingkungan mereka. Akan tetapi ada sebagian masyarakat yang telah sadar akan bahayanya limbah dengan cara membuat atau mengembangkan teknologi-teknologi berbasis kimia untuk mengolah limbah-limbah tersebut menjadi limbah yang layak guna.

 

B.Saran-Saran

            Saran penulis bagi masyarakat, diantaranya :

1.      Masyarakat harus terus mengembangkan atau membuat teknologi berbasis kimia untuk mengolah limbah-limbah tersebut menjadi limbah yang layak guna.

2.       Masyarakat ikut serta berpartisipasi aktif dalam menggunakan teknologi pengolahan limbah di seluruh bangunan di bumi
